400,000 Nepalis Vaccinated
Over 400,000 Nepalis vaccinated against with the Covid-19 vaccine under the first phase of the vaccination phase, Nepal's Ministry of Health and Population said. The first phase of the vaccination began on January 27 and ended Monday (2/22). Health workers, sanitization workers, journalists and staff in the diplomatic missions were vaccinated in the first phase. As many as 1.4% of the 30 million population were vaccinated in the first phase. "We aim to inoculate first doses of vaccine to 3.7 million people aged above 55 years in the second phase," said Upreti. "During this vaccination drive, we hope to get additional vaccine doses from different sources."
